Before Housing Connector, Chinnell co-managed a coding non-profit, connecting experts in the technology industry to under-resourced schools and providing classes and internships to high schoolers from non-traditional backgrounds. Through this work, she cultivated a community of over 200 volunteer educators, facilitated expansion to San Francisco and Chicago, and is still witnessing the success of her now expanisive alumni network.

In her role at Housing Connector, Chinnell helps our Property Partners market their properties on our exclusive Zillow-hosted platform. She also helps train and educate property owners and staff on how to utilize Housing Connector’s services and benefits.

Prior to settling in the Pacific Northwest, Chinnell and her partner spent a year and a half circumnavigating the United States in a van they built out together. When it’s too rainy to go hiking or rock climbing, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her ever-growing Seattle community.
