8,000 RESIDENTS HOUSED

NEW STRATEGY TO IMPACT 28,750

A new 3-year strategic plan focused on prevention, tech products, and property engagement will provide the roadmap to impact 28,750 people by 2027 across 10 markets.

5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

In 2019, Housing Connector launched in Seattle in collaboration with civic leaders, service providers, and Zillow Group. Our team has grown from 1 to 31 in 5 years.

TECH FOR GOOD

COMMUNITY HUB

We launched a new portal for our Community Partners to assist them in tracking and managing their housing navigation services and in matching their clients to our unit inventory.

TICKET MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY

A new automated support ticket routing system through custom business logic reduced assignment times saving 20 hours of monthly work, enabling quicker resolution.

UNIT INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

A new system for managing partner units was introduced, bringing 700+ units from 168 Properties into Community Hub. 120+ people were housed!

FUTURE LAUNCH: HUB EXPANSION

2025 will introduce new features to more effectively match renters to inventory, connect residents to local stability resources, and for leaders to manage organization workspaces.

SHARED BARRIERS

Housing Connector diminishes common screening barriers that prevent people from housing application approval. We partner with properties to adjust screening criteria for broader access which increases housing inventory for those who need it. In return, they receive stability case management including emergency rental assistance for their residents, and direct referrals to fill empty units.

A SCALABLE SOLUTION

Untitled design-4 1.png

"An individual who volunteers at our nonprofit had been sleeping in their car for 9 months. They had an eviction, had to pack up and flee a DV situation, and was afraid to ask for help. They were working two jobs and also working independently on the side and making a decent income.

A great fit for our program partnership!

I realized they already had created a Renter Profile with Housing Connector. Due to their eviction barrier, this was great news!

We found a couple properties in the area in which they wanted to live, near their kids, and so they applied.

This week I found out that they are the first Housing Connector client to get approved at this property!

They sign their lease and get their keys today!

I don't know the record, but 9 days, from Diversion Intake to moving in is remarkable!!!!

It feels so good to have helped them get a new start from homelessness."

"Our partnership with Housing Connector has been transformative, not only for the tenants we serve but also for the landlords we collaborate with. Housing Connector bridges the gap between housing providers and residents facing barriers, offering continuous support that ensures sustainable tenancies and thriving communities.

Their dedication to reducing vacancies and addressing housing challenges has significantly enhanced our ability to achieve meaningful outcomes. Housing Connector's innovative approach and unwavering commitment make them an invaluable partner in our mission to create housing solutions that work for everyone."

“The Stability Team are super super fast and responsive.

Your team was working with one client who’s been all over the place, and I thought that the way you handled that was really amazing. The client was really stressed out, and when she talked with Housing Connector, it was a really positive experience.

Your team is so fast and yet still treats everyone like human beings, not like some call-center."

Judith, Case Manager, Vine Maple Place, Maple Valley, Washington

“We are proud of Housing Connector’s remarkable success in stably housing thousands of families.

Every family they place in a home represents not only shelter but a pathway toward stability and dignity for those who need it most.

They stand out as one of the most scalable and cost-effective solutions we've seen for addressing homelessness, and we are dedicated to supporting their transformative work.”

A CULTURE FOR INNOVATION

"As part of the housing stability team, we play a crucial role in ensuring that clients have prompt access to the right resources. In their second year of the program, we offer guidance and support, assisting them in tackling various challenges like budgeting and preventing evictions. We serve as a vital link between landlords and tenants, ensuring smooth communication.

Driven by compassion, we strive for excellence in all that we do, dedicated to helping our clients reach their goals with our support."

Octavio Jimenez, Housing Stability Specialist

"Our work in the community goes beyond numbers and metrics—it's about lives transformed and hope restored.

We do this work because we care and many of us have been there.

At Housing Connector, we are able to advocate for people and help them believe in a better future.

Seeing neighbors support one another, opportunities created, and barriers broken down reminds me every day why this mission matters. It's truly an honor to be part of such meaningful change."

Van Parker, Managing Director - Dallas

"In 2023, I found myself escaping a domestic violence situation with my two young children, relying on the support of friends and family. My sister introduced me to United Way, which led me to a VISTA position at a small nonprofit focused on housing individuals facing instability—a reality I had only recently experienced firsthand.

When I joined Housing Connector, I quickly realized that, though painful, my story was not unique.

Every day, I see other young mothers and survivors struggling with the same challenges I faced. I work alongside dedicated case managers and committed property teams to help individuals find stable housing because it can happen to any of us. Just one medical emergency, natural disaster, family loss, or even one missed payment can destabilize everything. That’s why this work is so vital—to provide the stability that so many of us, in any moment, could need."

LOOKING AHEAD

We will work to house an additional 3,972 people in 2025 so we can provide homes for 28,750 people by 2027.

We will be launching new products and predictive models to identify evictions before they happen, and we will continue to grow our national footprint by expanding into our 5th market.

To those of you reading this who believe in our vision and conviction, I invite you to join us and become a Connector.
